Who We Are |
Hippopad is a partnership of five dedicated people – Stephen & Marian Enticknap, John & Helen Barnes and Chris Turner. We are all professional, full time landlords who take pride in what we do - specialising in providing high quality, affordable, all-inclusive, shared residential accommodation for young professional working people, in locations around Luton and Dunstable.
You are assured of a fantastic place to call home as we personally oversee and manage the everyday operations of all our properties and follow a proven system for delivering service excellence to our many tenants. You will be pleased to know that we are all members of Platinum Property Partners (PPP), the UK's leading professional property franchise network who are an award winning company providing high quality homes for young working professionals and key workers. The five of us are full members of the National Landlords Association and have also been accredited by the Luton Landlord Accreditation Scheme. We all work hard to deliver excellent customer service and regularly attend extensive training programs to keep up to date with all areas of property letting and management. Our Properties |
Our shared houses, or houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), are all in good residential locations and have been extensively refurbished to a very high standard to ensure that tenants are comfortable and feel safe.
We have a team of consultants who ensure we comply with the relevant national and local council, planning and building regulations, and we work closely with both local housing standards and fire safety officers to ensure the properties meet all the necessary health, safety, fire and HMO standards. All our shared houses are fully licensed by Luton Borough Council. Tenants have their own fully furnished, individual rooms and shared communal living and kitchen facilities. Additionally, all the shared houses have a choice of shared or en-suite bathrooms. This gives you our tenants, a range of options alongside the opportunity to live in executive-quality accommodation with excellent amenities and a sociable environment for an affordable rent. Our shared houses are in safe residential locations within easy reach of shops, leisure and entertainment facilities and excellent public transport links. There is also storage areas for bikes and parking is available both on site and close to the properties. In all our shared houses we try to make sure there is a balance between male and female house-mates, all of whom are working professionals in their 20's and 30's, and we only accept like-minded people who are respectful of others and easy to get on with. |
The Service we Provide to our Tenants |
All the shared houses are either personally managed by us or our property manager. We never use agencies, thereby avoiding costly overheads which tend to be reflected in high administration fees for tenants. There is a direct line of communication to us or our property manager, not only during the daytime but also evenings and weekends.
We only rent our rooms to young professional working people in their 20's and 30's. Sorry, no students, couples or people on benefits. As owners, landlords and managers, it is in our interest to maintain all properties to a very high standard at all times, and we pride ourselves on dealing with issues quickly and fixing problems as soon as possible |
